About
In a world of endless content, most images are destined to be forgotten. I’m interested in the ones that aren’t.
My name is Kevin, and I’m an architectural retoucher based in Oakland, California. On paper, my job is to ensure every line is perfect, every color is true, and every texture is tangible. I partner with world-class photographers and design firms like HMC Architects to create images that don't just document a space, but honor its intent.
But what I really do is search for the gravity in an image.
My process is a blend of logic-driven precision and artistic sensitivity, built on a simple, non-negotiable belief: craft is not a commodity. In an industry rapidly shifting toward "fast and cheap," I’ve chosen to double down on the principles that last: meticulous intentionality, creative alignment without ego, and an unapologetic standard for quality. I am a partner to my clients, not a vendor. My goal is to create work that feels as vital and resonant in a decade as it does the day it’s delivered.
This philosophy comes from a place of deep-seated curiosity (a classic INFP trait) about how technology and artistry intersect. I’m fascinated by film, space documentaries, and the quiet power of a well-designed space. When I’m not finessing pixels, you can usually find me practicing italic calligraphy, brewing a proper Vietnamese coffee, or trying to decode the strange chirping noises my calico cat, Maddy, makes.
Ultimately, my work is for the discerning—the architects, designers, and photographers who know that the details you can feel are the only ones that truly matter. If you believe an image is a permanent piece of your legacy, we’re already speaking the same language.
Let’s create something that endures.
