About
Most images pass through your eyes and disappear.
I’m interested in the ones that stay.
I’m Kevin Le, an architectural retoucher based in Oakland, California. I work with photographers, architects, and design firms to create images with clarity, atmosphere, and staying power.
Retouching is often treated like cleanup. A final sweep. A technical afterthought. I see it differently.
For me, retouching is where an image either locks into place or falls apart.
It’s where light gets resolved. Color gets honest. Composition gets quieter, stronger, more certain of itself. It’s not about adding more. It’s about recognizing what the image wants to be, then removing everything that weakens it.
My approach is rooted in creative intuition and technical precision. I care about realism, restraint, and the kind of detail you don’t always notice consciously, but always feel when it’s missing.
I’m not here to manufacture perfection. I’m here to protect the image from compromise.
In a culture built on speed, shortcuts, and disposable visuals, I’ve built my practice around taste, quality, and follow-through. Because the final image is not the end of the process. It is the thing people remember.
If that level of care matters to you, we’ll probably work well together.
